            The Onalaska Loggers will venture away from home to  challenge the Fort Vancouver Trappers  at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. Onalaska is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season.
Onalaska will roll into the  game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  last Thursday, then bounced right back against Rainier  on Friday. The Loggers had just enough and edged out the Mountaineers  11-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Loggers have posted  against the Mountaineers since April 9, 2018.

 Desean Stewart was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 4-for-5. Those  four  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Broden Vickers was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (two).  Blaze Underhill also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Meanwhile, Fort Vancouver was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They came up short against  Castle Rock, falling  12-2.
 Onalaska's victory  ended  a  14-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-4. As for Fort Vancouver, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
