The Temple Baptist Eagles gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bethel Christian Academy 56-25 at home. For Temple Baptist, this counts as revenge for the 37-30 defeat Bethel Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Logan Callahan and Levi Thomas certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Callahan scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while Thomas scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.
Temple Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
