Basketball Recap: North Brunswick Comes Up Short

North Brunswick extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 15 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-5. They took a 42-28 bruising from the East Bladen Eagles. The contest marked the Scorpions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for East Bladen, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 50.5 points this season.

East Bladen found their leader in sophomore Sana'A Singletary, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Singletary has scored all season. Aaliyah Monroe was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. North Brunswick will square off against South Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Bladen, they will take on Heide Trask at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
