Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Bronx High School of Science

Columbus faced Bronx High School of Science in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. The Sharks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bronx High School of Science, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Columbus and Bronx High School of Science will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Sharks see the court they'll take on Walton at 4:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Bronx High School of Science, their break will end when they face DeWitt Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
