Football Recap: Fort Lauderdale Takes a Loss

Fort Lauderdale extended their losing streak to eight on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-11 in the process. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Boyd Anderson Cobras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cobras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-0 back in March.

As for Boyd Anderson, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won nine contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Ariana Stoveall, who threw for 148 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 37 yards.

Fort Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boyd Anderson, they have already played their next matchup, a 13-7 win against Nova on the 16th.
