Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Imani Christian Academy). They blew past the Canon-McMillan Big Macs 82-41 on Friday. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Big Macs are ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Markus Williams went supernova for Imani Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten assists. Imani Christian Academy is 7-3 when Williams posts ten or more assists, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was RJ Sledge, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 8-5. As for Canon-McMillan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Imani Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 60-46 defeat against St. Benedict's Prep on the 19th. Canon-McMillan has also already played their next game (against Upper St. Clair), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
