Recap: Lenape Indians vs. Middle Township Panthers
The Lenape Indians pushed their score all the way to 56 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Middle Township.
Re'Ale Basquine was the offensive standout of the match as he shot 4-for-5 from deep and dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bubba McNeil, who scored 11 points.
Lenape's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Middle Township, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lenape will be home for the holidays to greet Cherry Hill West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middle Township will be home for the holidays to greet Egg Harbor Township at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
