Soccer Recap: Paine Mountain Find Success

Paine Mountain proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Enosburg Falls Hornets 5-4. This was a revenge game for Paine Mountain: when they faced off against Enosburg Falls two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

The win got Paine Mountain back to even at 3-3. As for Enosburg Falls, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-3 record.

Looking ahead, Paine Mountain will welcome Twinfield at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Enosburg Falls, they will challenge Blue Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enosburg Falls will be up against Blue Mountain's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.38 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
