Basketball Recap: The Master's Academy Comes Up Short

The Master's Academy lost against Pinnacle Classical Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Master's Academy Lions were beaten by the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles 73-26. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cody Humphries continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pinnacle Classical Academy, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 15 boards. With that strong performance, Humphries is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Braylon Gentry was another key player, going 9 for 11 en route to 19 points.

The Master's Academy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Temple Baptist the next time they take the court. Pinnacle Classical Academy will host Temple Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while The Master's Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
