It was a good run, but Meadville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Hale Cardinals and fell 68-40. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th in Missouri, while the Cardinals are ranked 149th in Missouri).

Despite the loss, Meadville still got an impressive performance from Donivan Schreckhise, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Schreckhise is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last three games he's played. Walker Norris was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.

Meadville's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Hale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

As of now, neither Meadville nor Hale have any future games scheduled.
