Soccer Recap: The Collegiate School of Memphis' Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After flying high against Sheffield on Thursday, The Collegiate School of Memphis came back down to earth. The Cougars fell 3-1 to Memphis Rise Academy on Friday. The Collegiate School of Memphis were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Memphis Rise Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The Collegiate School of Memphis' goal came courtesy of Ivan Jimenez-Guzman, who's now up to nine this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, The Collegiate School of Memphis fell to 5-1-1. As for Memphis Rise Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

The Collegiate School of Memphis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-3 loss against Memphis Business Academy on the 29th. As for Memphis Rise Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against University on the 5th.
