Volleyball Game Preview: Heritage Preparatory Rams vs. Holy Spirit Prep Cougars

Heritage Preparatory hasn't had much luck against Holy Spirit Prep recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rams will challenge the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Heritage Preparatory didn't have quite enough to beat St. Mary's Academy and fell 3-2. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 25-18 in the first set.

Heritage Preparatory took St. Mary's Academy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-13, 25-20, 22-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Holy Spirit Prep came up short against St. John Bosco Academy on Friday and fell 3-1. While the Cougars didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating St. John Bosco Academy 25-14 in the first set.

Holy Spirit Prep started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 14-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-22.

Heritage Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Holy Spirit Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
