Recap: Caro Tigers vs. Bad Axe Hatchets
The Caro Tigers entered their tilt with the Bad Axe Hatchets with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Caro pulled ahead with a 35-34 photo finish over Bad Axe. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Caro also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Caro was led to victory by Normandy Geiger and Brooklyn Osborn. Geiger dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Osborn scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Geiger has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alexa Long, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Caro's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Bad Axe, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caro will take on Laker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bad Axe, they will head out on the road to square off against Cass City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
