Basketball Recap: Hayden Wolf's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Elida over Dora

Elida lost against Dora back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Elida Tigers came up short against the Dora Coyotes, falling 52-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Coyotes since January 31, 2023.

Elida lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hayden Wolf, who posted eight points. Dylan Dobbins was another key player, putting up seven points.

Elida has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Dora, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.

Elida didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-32 defeat against Melrose on the 15th. As for Dora, they have also already played their next match, a 44-38 victory against Grady on the 17th.
