Soccer Recap: Pomperaug Comes Up Short

Pomperaug was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the RHAM Raptors. That's two games in a row now that Pomperaug have lost by just one goal.

Pomperaug now has a losing record of 2-3. As for RHAM, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Pomperaug will head out to take on Abbott RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for RHAM, they will be playing at home against Conard at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
