Florence Christian was led to victory by Anna Kate Huggins and Emerson Poston. Huggins scored eight points along with nine steals, while Poston scored seven points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Poston has scored at least 25% of Florence Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Leah Lambert, who scored four points.
Florence Christian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Williamsburg Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
