Oak Park-River Forest skates past Lincoln Park with ease

On Friday, Oak Park-River Forest really took it to Lincoln Park for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-21 victory on the road. That looming 50-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Oak Park-River Forest yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oak Park-River Forest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayda Noyes, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Noyes has scored all season. Taylor Smith was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Oak Park-River Forest's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Lincoln Park, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Park-River Forest's road trip will continue as they head out to face Proviso West at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th. Proviso West has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 25. As for Lincoln Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Noble Street College Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Noble Street College Prep's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Lincoln Park's offense will have their work cut out for Lincoln Park.
