Volleyball Recap: Lee's Summit West Extends Winning Streak to Six

Lee's Summit West had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Raymore-Peculiar on Tuesday. The Titans blew past the Panthers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 3rd.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lee's Summit West took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-8.

Jayden Ring was a one-man wrecking crew as he had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last six matches. Jay Ely also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Lee's Summit West was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
