Soccer Recap: Ville de Marie Academy Takes a Loss

Ville de Marie Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Verde Valley Coyotes. While losing is never fun, Ville de Marie Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Verde Valley is ranked third).

Ville de Marie Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Verde Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ville de Marie Academy will take on Gila Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Verde Valley, they will challenge Tri City Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
