Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

Spring Valley was the 2-1 winner over Atlantic Collegiate Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Armada on Saturday.

Spring Valley's offense was headlined by Kylan Stone and Ava Temoney, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Kennedy Newton and her three assists. Temoney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-14-1. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Spring Valley has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Hilton Head Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against A.C. Flora on the 13th.
