Basketball Recap: Jackson North Side Comes Up Short

Jackson North Side played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 67-31 defeat at the hands of the Peabody Golden Tide. The Indians were down 48-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Jackson North Side's loss came despite strong showings from Ivyunna Miller and Madyson Person. Miller posted eight points, while Person put up five points in addition to six boards and four blocks. Miller continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played.

Jackson North Side is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15. As for Peabody, they moved to 1-12 with that victory, which also ended their 17-game losing streak.

Jackson North Side didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-29 loss against Chester County on the 9th. As for Peabody, they will take on Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
