Soccer Game Preview: Union Pines vs. Lee County + How To Watch

Union Pines hasn't had much luck against Lee County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Vikings will face off against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Union Pines is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They put the hurt on Scotland with a sharp 6-1 victory on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Lee County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Southern Lee on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Lee County have won by just one goal.

They hit Southern Lee with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Omar Lagunas, Christian Ochoa, and Adrain Trujillio.

Union Pines' record now sits at 4-8. As for Lee County, their record is now 9-6.

Union Pines couldn't quite get it done against Lee County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
