Volleyball Recap: Jones Comes Up Short

Jones was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Colonial Grenadiers. If the Fightin' Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Grenadiers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jones started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-14.

Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Colonial, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colonial, they will welcome West Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
