It was a good run, but Lenoir City unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Loudon Redskins by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lenoir City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Helton, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lenoir City's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Loudon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lenoir City will venture away from home to challenge Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Loudon, they will head out to square off against Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
