Willowbrook beats Yorkville for their sixth straight win

Recap: Willowbrook Warriors vs. Yorkville Foxes
The Willowbrook Warriors entered their tilt with the Yorkville Foxes with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Willowbrook came out on top against Yorkville by a score of 21-13 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Willowbrook, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Yorkville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Luke Zook. Despite the final result, he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Willowbrook's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-9 Glenbard North and 1-8 Oak Park-River Forest (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 29.7% over those games). As for Yorkville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Willowbrook will head out on the road to face off against Hononegah at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hononegah will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Yorkville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
