Baseball Recap: Drumright Gets the Win

Drumright's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Mooreland Bearcats 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tornadoes have posted since April 2nd.

Drumright is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Mooreland, they dropped their record down to 12-19 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Drumright does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mooreland, they have already played their next contest, a 14-0 loss against Caddo on the 29th.
