Volleyball Recap: USC Hybrid Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

There's no place like home for USC Hybrid, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Animo Robinson Monarchs 3-0 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Monarchs back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

USC Hybrid never let Animo Robinson on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead USC Hybrid to victory, but perhaps none more so than Francisco Sandoval, who had 31 digs. Sandoval has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times he's played. Anthony Ramirez was another key player, getting six blocks, five digs, and two aces.

USC Hybrid's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. As for Animo Robinson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

As of now, neither USC Hybrid nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
