Softball Recap: Reynolds Comes Up Short

Reynolds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mercer Mustangs. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 22-1 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mercer, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Reynolds will square off against rival Sharpsville at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mercer is set to challenge their familiar foe West Middlesex at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
