Baseball Recap: Tahlequah Comes Up Short

Tahlequah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McAlester Buffaloes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 last Monday.

Tahlequah's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for McAlester, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Tahlequah has already played their next game (against Fort Gibson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for McAlester, they will challenge Eufaula at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Buffaloes' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Ironheads have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
