Rancho Cucamonga came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Chino Hills Huskies by a score of 31-24. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 31-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

Rancho Cucamonga's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyree Wilson, who rushed for 108 yards and one score on only six carries, and also picked up 62 receiving yards and one TD. Wilson's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Jacob Chambers was another key passer, throwing for 247 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes.

Rancho Cucamonga didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Nate Mensah was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself. Another thorn in Chino Hills' side was Jayden Porter, who picked up two sacks and made two total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Rancho Cucamonga's record is now 6-4. As for Chino Hills, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Rancho Cucamonga will look to defend their home field on the 7th against Tustin at 7:00 p.m. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Tillers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Chino Hills, they will take on Mira Costa at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
