Hartington-Newcastle posted their biggest victory since January 20th on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 56-23 win over the Creighton Bulldogs. The Wildcats pushed the score to 51-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

It was another big night for Brayden Lammers, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Sudbeck, who posted nine points.

Hartington-Newcastle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive contests.

Hartington-Newcastle's record is now 8-14. As for Creighton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Hartington-Newcastle is facing Walthill at the right time seeing as Walthill is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Creighton, they will take on Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Creighton surely won't give up without a fight.
