Basketball Recap: Uvalde Takes a Loss

Uvalde played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Devine Warhorses, falling 73-35. The Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) haven't had much luck with the Warhorses recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Uvalde lost, don't look at Amilee Pulido. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points.

Uvalde's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Devine, they pushed their record up to 20-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Uvalde will host Somerset at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Devine, they will head out on the road to take on Carrizo Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
