Volleyball Recap: Severance Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Severance can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Air Academy Kadets on Friday. The Silver Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Malia Nethery and Isla Jacobo, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Dalaynie Loftin and her nine assists. Finally, Ashlyn King and Anna Cooper kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Severance's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Air Academy, they moved to 13-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Severance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Air Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against University on the 7th.
