Basketball Recap: Toll Gate Takes a Loss

Toll Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Smithfield Sentinels, falling 51-31.

Toll Gate's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Smithfield, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Coming up, Toll Gate will square off against Tiverton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Smithfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-38 victory against North Smithfield on the 10th.
