Soccer Recap: Junction City Comes Up Short

Junction City had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Hays Indians, falling 5-1. Junction City have struggled against Hays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Hays now has a winning record of 2-1.

Junction City will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Mary's Academy at 6:15 p.m. on the 25th. As for Hays, they will head out to square off against Great Bend at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Hays their first taste of in-conference action this season.
