Softball Recap: Mcnary Has No Trouble Against Sprague

McNary got themselves on the board against Sprague on Friday, but Sprague never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Olympians. Considering the Celtics have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

McNary has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Sprague, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Looking ahead, McNary will face off against Newberg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.18 runs per game on average), something the Celtics will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Sprague, they will welcome South Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
