Blackduck put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Pine River-Backus Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Drakes also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Blackduck pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.8 runs this season. As for Pine River-Backus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Blackduck will head out to square off against Hill City/Northland at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pine River-Backus, they will be playing at home against Crosby-Ironton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
