Basketball Recap: Kennedy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Cabrini

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They came out on top against the Cabrini Crescents by a score of 52-41 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Kennedy's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-6. As for Cabrini, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-19-1.

Kennedy has already played their next matchup (against John Ehret), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cabrini will venture away from home to square off against Academy of the Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Academy of the Sacred Heart's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Cabrini's offense will have their work cut out for them.
