Hillcrest gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They slipped by the Madison Bobcats 23-22. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row dating back to last season.

Hillcrest had a senior duo take command as Tyson Sweetwood rushed for 61 yards and one TD and Dax Sargent rushed for 98 yards and one touchdown.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hillcrest has already played their next match, a 49-14 victory against Bonneville on the 5th. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-7 win against Middleton on the 5th.
