Softball Recap: Tyngsborough Finds Home Field Redemption Against Littleton

There's no place like home for Tyngsborough, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Littleton by a score of 11-6 on Monday. Tyngsborough hasn't had any issues with Littleton recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kiley Hogan made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sydney Haslam, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Katie O'Keefe was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Tyngsborough kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Littleton only managed nine hits.

Tyngsborough's record now sits at 16-4-1. As for Littleton, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-12.

As of now, neither Tyngsborough nor Littleton have any future games scheduled.
