Baseball Recap: Pewaukee Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Pewaukee's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Pewaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3-1.

Coming up, Pewaukee will square off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, they will face off against Greendale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
