Fort Lauderdale lost a close one when they played last Monday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They took a blow against the Somerset Prep Somerset Prep, falling 95-23. The Flying L's were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-12.
Somerset Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chardae Rumph out in front who posted 25 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle King, who earned 19 points plus six assists.
Fort Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Somerset Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
