Basketball Game Recap: Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats vs. Chicago Vocational Cavaliers

The Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 24-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chicago Vocational. Back of the Yards College Prep lost against Chicago Vocational in their previous head to head back in December of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 51-26 score last time.

Back of the Yards College Prep's loss on Wednesday came despite strong showings from Nysiara Roby and Alani Matos. Roby scored 3 points along with 11 rebounds, while Matos scored 0 points.

Back of the Yards College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Chicago Vocational, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Back of the Yards College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Richards at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chicago Vocational, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bogan at 5:00 p.m.
