Lutheran North won the last time they faced Bishop Foley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lutheran North Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bishop Foley Ventures 57-24. The Mustangs didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lutheran North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Head, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 11 points. Thanks to that strong game, Head now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage. Ben Scheuher was another key player, putting up seven points.
Lutheran North's record is now 5-9. As for Bishop Foley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran North will take on Divine Child at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Divine Child knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lutheran North likes a good challenge. As for Bishop Foley, they will challenge Detroit Cristo Rey at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
