The Wilson Wildcats will challenge the Spruce Timberwolves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wilson has eight straight victories, Spruce has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Wilson pushed their record up to 13-4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Spruce, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
