Preview: Bagdad Sultans vs. San Pasqual Valley Warriors
Bagdad is 0-10 against San Pasqual Valley since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Bagdad Sultans just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the San Pasqual Valley Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on January 25th. Bagdad's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so San Pasqual Valley's offense will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, Bagdad didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mayer, but they still walked away with a 28-24 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bagdad.
Meanwhile, San Pasqual Valley earned a 43-30 victory over San Luis on Wednesday.
Bagdad is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for San Pasqual Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
Bagdad ended up a good deal behind San Pasqual Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 40-23. Can Bagdad avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
