League recap: Geneva stuns Abbeville in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Geneva, who took down 177th ranked Abbeville, 41-40.

Daleville was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to first in 3A Region 2. Earlier in the week, the Warhawks triumphed over Montgomery Catholic 38-9.

Slocomb's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Matt Hagler threw for 88 yards and Bailey Jones had 42 yards receiving. On the ground Hagler contributed 31 yards.

Dale County scaled the state rankings by moving to 170 from 229 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Warriors were able to make move up by topping Slocomb 24-0.
