Volleyball Recap: Hardee Wildcats vs. DeSoto County Bulldogs
Hardee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-0 to the DeSoto County Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-12.
DeSoto County can attribute much of their success to Emery Skinner, who had nine digs and two aces. The dominant performance gave her a new career- in aces.
Hardee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for DeSoto County, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardee will head out to square off against George Jenkins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeSoto County, they will face off against Port Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
