Baseball Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Cedar

Dixie faced Cedar in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Flyers fell just short of the Reds by a score of 11-10. The Flyers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Reds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

He has become a key player for Dixie: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. As for Cedar, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
