Baseball Recap: Rock Port Starts Season with Loss at Home

Rock Port unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 11-3 to the Faith Christian Academy Knights on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Jays have suffered since April 23, 2024.

Rock Port saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Lair, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Coming up, Rock Port will challenge Falls City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Christ Prep Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 25.
